Acrylic nails are a combination of a liquid and a powder that form a paste which is bonded to the natural nail. Your nail technician will form the desired shape based on your preferences. Acrylic nails are perfect for those looking to add length and strength to their nails. Acrylics can also create a larger, more evenly shaped canvas for those who love intricate nail designs.
Sculptured nails are acrylic based nails that are formed into a specific shape. Choose the shape you want and the nail artist can create it. For example, if you want the popular coffin-shaped, ballerina or stiletto nails sculpted nails are for you. If you prefer that your nails take on a more traditional rounded or squared shape, your nail artist can certainly sculpt them.
An acrylic fill treats the nail regrowth at the base of the nails. Any nail lifting can be removed and the exposed natural nail will be covered with fresh acrylic. This technique can also be called Infill. It is recommended to fill your acrylic nails every 3-4 weeks.
Hard gel is a nail enhancement like acrylic nails except it cures in a UV light. It is NOT gel polish/shellac/soft gel/soak off gel. You can extend the length of the nail with hard gel, just like acrylic. The only difference is that hard gel hardens through UV light rather than through evaporating solvents (like acrylic). There are many benefits to using the innovative nail enhancement that is hard gel including more flexibility and strength of nails. Another bonus,hard gel is essentially odorless, making the appointment more pleasant for those sensitive to smell.

It is recommended that your hard gel nails be refilled or rebased at 2-3 weeks to maintain your shape, length and cuticles, for the longest lasting extensions.
Polygel is a nail enhancement best described as a hybrid formula that combines the durability of acrylic and the elasticity application of gel nails. Polygel nails offer durability, flexibility, and customizability, but with the bonus of an easier application. Polygel can be applied as an overlay on your natural nails, or as a nail enhancement for length and strength. It is still cured under a UV light, but it is a lot lighter than both hard gel and acrylic nails. It also has a much lighter fragrance, which is great for people that like the look of acrylics but are sensitive to the smell!

For your fill-in, the polygel remains on the nail and is filed down. More polygel is added near the cuticle to fill in the area where the nail has grown over time. It is recommended to fill your polygel nails every 3-4 weeks.
